North Florida Workforce Development Board, a private non-profit organization, brings together businesses, elected officials, educators and other collaborative partners to build and enhance a workforce to meet the needs of a demand driven economy. Supported by federal funds, NFWDB is affiliated with Workforce Florida, Inc. and the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation.

With a focus on economic development, business, and workforce needs specific to our region, we rely on our board, committees and council members to establish successful programs and initiatives. This site is intended to be a resource for our board members, partners and others interested in learning more about local workforce services.

Welcome to North Florida Workforce. We proudly serve the six rural counties of our region with quality Workforce services. Our volunteer board of business men and women, educators, elected officials and other local community leaders is committed to a partnership that helps to grow and sustain economic development in our communities. We believe we can have an employable workforce that is ready, willing, and able to fill business needs in every area. We strive to help established businesses grow and to make our region attractive to others who would like to locate here.

It is a pleasure to live and work in beautiful North Florida. With its unique and diverse landscape, and its needs common to all areas of the state, this region offers the best opportunities and challenges in economic development. As our area experiences growth from the relocation of families and businesses, our partnerships continue to grow. Together we will meet the challenges and deliver a workforce to meet the needs of our business community, education to prepare that workforce, and continued services to sustain economic progress in Hamilton, Jefferson,  Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee and Taylor counties.

I am proud to serve this region alongside a committed board of directors and a professional staff who are dedicated to making sure our customers get the very best service in our workforce system. Through our Workforce career centers, our staff serves the business community to assist employers and job seekers with services tailored to meet their individual needs.
