Workforce offers a variety of career programs and resources for jobseekers. Our staff of Certified Workforce Professionals will provide one-on-one assistance to help you become successful and achieve your goals.

Jobseeker Orientation 

Extended Jobseeker Services
Once you know your career goal, our staff will provide guidance with career exploration, labor market information, and employer/employee matching programs. Workforce also offers current lists of job openings as well as counseling and referral services.

Workforce also offers workshops open to all jobseekers:

• Work preparation classes
• Job search
• Interviewing skills
• Resume writing
• Dress for Success.

Resource Room
Our Resource Room is equipped with Internet accessible computers, printers, fax machines, copier and ADA compliant computer hardware and software. The room is available to jobseekers at no cost Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use the Resource Room to:

• Search and apply for jobs
• Develop resumes
• Access websites pertaining to your job search
• Assess and enhance skills with specialized computer software and other available resources
• File unemployment claims online or by phone
• And much more!

Employers use our offices from time to time for recruiting, so remember to be dressed appropriately when coming to our Resource Room for service.  You never know what opportunities will present themselves.
